Parents/Players,

Tomorrow (9/24) will wrap up the OM golf season as none of our golfers will qualify for the post season and it is our last match.

In 2012, OM, Hammond, and Long Reach have been having a tri-match named the East Side Iron Skillet Championship in which the winner of each of the boys and girls teams for this particular match will earn the “Iron Skillet” and take it back to their perspective schools for the year and showcase it. It is a fairly good match every year as our three schools typically are scoring around the same amount of points. We currently are in possession of our 1st Boys Iron Skillet from last year (one stroke victory). I hope to see as many fans/parents/gallery in attendance tomorrow to be a part of the “skillet” and route for our team in their final match.

We are currently working on the end of year banquet and more information will be forthcoming in the near future.

If you haven’t already, please make every effort to pay for our team shirts this year. The cost is $40 per shirt. We will take cash or check (checks payable to Oakland Mills High School)
